Here's an easy recipe to use when you do not have any Teriyaki sauce in your pantry.
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoon red wine
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Combine ingredients in small saucepan and heat until sugar is dissolved. Use in recipes. Makes 3/4 cups.
